Hurling News

Mágh Cuilinn had a 1-19 to 0-10 win in the Intermediate City League vs Rahoon-Newcastle in Pairc Mágh Cuilinn on Tuesday night.

Despite the Board's cancellation of Thursday's U16 fixtures no Minor B Hurling Championship game vs Michael Cusacks went ahead on Friday or Monday. Cumann Iomanaiocht Maigh Cuilinn now have a glut of fixtures staring with U16 on Wed 25th against Annaghdown, Minor B in Killimordaly on Thurs, U16 on Mon vs Ballygar, Minor on Wed vs Oranmore Maree and U16 in Carnmore on Thurs 3rd July.

On Sunday our Juniors had their first Championship game in a month but a severely depleted selection went down to a heavy defeat to Oranmore/Maree. They are again on Friday in Carnmore against Pearses to complicate the fixtures even more.

Our U13s recorded an impressive 6-05 to 0-04 points in Loughrea in the A1 championship. They face Killimordaly on Tuesday and Sarsfields the following Monday in their bid to secure a semifinal berth.
