Hurling News

Our U13's had an excellent win at Pearse Stadium over Castlegar in their U13 A Shield final. They now have the honour of being the highest ranked team at County level in the club. Their 2015 overall ranking is No 5 in the County, a ranking that cannot be surpassed by any other adult or underage team. Hurling Championship Final. A match report is available on the website

Our Intermediate hurlers got back to action with a comfortable win in the league over Killimor at Castlegar on Saturday. The Game saw a first appearance in 2015 for Conor Bohan and a first return to action for Kevin O'Donovan and Conor Noone from injury and illness respectively.

Having previously won the Junior 7's at St Judes and the Intermediate 11's at Ratoath, the club will compete in the prestigous Kilmacud Crokes 7's on Saturday of the All Ireland weekend.

Unfortunately, our Minors lost their playoff game against Portumna at Loughrea on Monday night in a reversal of the group result. Moycullen led early on but two mid first half goals put Portumna in the driving seat from there on. Mágh Cuilinn did get two late goals after being reduced to 14. Final score 3-17 to 3-07.

Best to luck to our 10 man panel in Kilmacud and of course to both our County hurling teams on Sunday.
