FLAG DAY: Flag Day: The annual flag day took place on Saturday 4th September 9am - 6pm. A massive well done to everyone involved in the flag day collection. Thanks to Shane Hickey & Paddy McCleery for organising and a big thank you to everyone who stood at the various collection points throughout the day. A huge thank you to the mini section who were primarily involved in the collection. They did their club proud And a huge THANK YOU goes out to the people of Drogheda for their support on the day.
OnLine Garda Vetting Webinar
On-line Garda Vetting process Wednesday 22 September @ 9pm. Our Child Welfare Officer Julie Ui Choistealbha will take us through the RugbyConnect process on a Zoom call. ALL coaches must now be Garda Vetted on the ON-LINE system. All welcome to attend but at least one coach from each age group should attend and be able to advise and assist other coaches as to the procedures.
First Aid Course
First Aid Course Saturday September 25th in Shamrock Lodge 9.30 - 3pm. This is a recognised course with qualification run by Barry Redmond (First Response). Each team must have at least one first aider available (coach or parent). Age Groups with 2 teams or very large panels should consider having 2 coaches on the course. If a parent, then they too will need to be Garda Vetted on RugbyConnect.
