Boyne RFC are delighted to announce the following appointments:
Vic Ball has been appointed Senior Squad Head Coach. Vic hails from New Zealand but has been based in Ireland over the last 16 years. During his time in Ireland, Vic has played and coached extensively at AIL level and is currently also coaching at Wesley College, Dublin. Vic also runs his own successful business. Speaking today, Vic said “I'm very honoured and excited to be named Head Coach of Boyne RFC for the upcoming 2019/20 season. I'm grateful to the club for offering me this opportunity and I'm really looking forward to the challenge ahead. Planning is now well underway".
Vic added “the focus now is to create an environment that is professional, organised and enjoyable that will give the players every opportunity to get the most out of their rugby. It is also a priority to provide a pathway for our young players to represent the 1st XV at a club, that for most, they've represented at mini/youth and underage levels from the very start.
I look forward to getting down to hard work in the pre-season as we lay the foundations of what, I believe, will be a rewarding season for all. I also look forward to meeting all club members over the course of the season”.
We are also pleased to announce that Michael Hennessy has taken up the role of Senior Squad Manager. Michael will work closely with Vic and have responsibility for all aspects of senior squad organisation. Michael is a successful Boyne youth Cup and League double winner and along with his family, has a long association with the club.
I know I can count on your support for Vic and Michael and you will join me in wishing them every success for the season.

The Bank of Ireland Leinster Rugby Camps provides boys and girls – aged 6-12 years – with a fun-filled week of rugby during the summer holidays. The camps are focused around maximising enjoyment and learning to play the Leinster Way.
