Limerick Regatta & Irish School's Regatta - this weekend
Coming up on April 20 & 21 are Limerick Regatta and the Irish School's Regatta, each of which is a fantastic opportunity for the Limerick clubs to get some racing under our belt without having to travel half way across the country.
These are a joint effort of all Limerick clubs and just like any event we will never have enough volunteers, namely launch drivers and umpires, stake boat crews, field and traffic management and a few other roles such as safety checking boats and bow numbers at the slip.
We would be really grateful to everyone who can offer to lend a hand on either the Saturday or the Sunday even for just 1 sgift.
Shifts are 0830-1130 / 1130-1430 / 1430-1800
If you can, please send Chris Burke a quick message and let him know when or what you can help with it. (You’ll be well fed by Shannon rowing club from what we’ve heard!)

Riverfest Regatta:
Delighted to announce that in conjunction with Riverfest we are running a fun regatta in OCS on Monday May 6 from 4-6pm on a short course from Sarsfield Bridge to Shannon bridge. This will be aimed primarily at local clubs and is being organised by the Rec’s chaired by Dara O’Connor. Join us for a fun, social event and an opportunity to showcase our sport in the city centre. All enquiries including volunteering offers to Dara.
Keep an eye on social media channels and our website for race categories to be announced in the next few days.
Next regatta trip is to NRC for Skibb on this Sat 13th & Sun 14th.
