SUMMER ROWING CAMPS 2021
This year's SMRC Summer Campare off to a great start with #2 this week. See our social media for pics in the glorious sunshine. Places for upcoming camps are booking fast, but there is still availability. Please book by emailing smrccoaching@gmail.com Price is €80 per participant. (€60 for members including LTR’s and €50 for additional camp or for siblings). Further details including payment details will be provided. All Participating must be competent swimmers. Rowing will be dependent on the weather conditions. Camps run for 4 days / 3.5 hours per day. Camp 3: Starting Monday July 19th Camp 4: Starting Monday August 02nd Camp 5: Starting Monday August 16th
Webcam:
There is now a webcam installed at the club. The live camera gives a great view across the river to the city and looks particularly well as the sun is setting. You can see it on our website www.smrc.ie and also on the global webcam platform Earthcam.com
2021 fundraising:
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all our usual club fundraising events are cancelled. This leaves a massive shortfall in our fundraising income so we need all of you to please help us extend the reach of our Lotto and get more players involved. If you each bring just 1 or 2 new players to the group, we will be able to continue our essential maintainence and purchases like new boats and oars, gym equipment and more.The Lotto supports rowers and we need your best efforts please. Thank you to all our new and returning players and please encourage a friend to play too...
