Rowing News:
Well done to all our crews at Fermoy Regatta, and wins for Ronan O'Gorman in the Mens Junior16 1X, and Orna Murphy & Kate McGann, winners of the Women's Junior 15 2X. Well rowed all.

Super stuff and well rowed ALL our crews and coaches.
Our next event is, of course, tine big finale of the rowing calendar - The Irish Rowinf Championships at The National Rowing Centre in Cork.

St. Michaels Inaugural Masters Regatta 2017:
St. Michael’s are excited to announce our first Masters Regatta will take place on Saturday August 26th from 6-9pm in Limerick City. The Regatta is being run to cater for the increased numbers of Masters crews and it will greatly aid the race preparation for the Irish crews competing at World Rowing Masters Regatta in Bled in September.

St. Michael’s success both on and off the water is down to our strong volunteer
network and it’s for this reason we’re contacting everyone. The Masters regatta
needs volunteers to run the event successfully and to show to the rowing community and the people of Limerick just what we are capable of.
We have a small sub committee formed of Club Secretary & self appointed Masters Regatta Chairman Brian notions Richardson, Masters Rower and Cox Billy Carmody and Masters Rower Mike McDonagh. Over the next week we will finalise the regatta plan with a list of tasks to be completed. Each task need an owner who’ll take responsibility for completing the list of jobs and communicating out to the committee group.

Many hands make light work so if you have some time and energy to give to what will be a fantastic few hours of racing in the city centre then let us know.

If you have time an energy to volunteer then please contact Richie via
stmichaelsrcsecretary@gmail.com

Kings of the River:
The club's masters, recreational and novice crews made an epic journey from Killaloe to St.Michaels via the Ardnacrusha Power Station on Sunday. Well done to everyone & the support crew & organisers. Our friend Brian Cox (no, the other one!) sent us a great video capturing some of the trip.
