Draw Entries are currently being processed. A count of any Winners will be available shortly. Junior HurlingThe hurlers have played 2 games so far in this years east Championship. The opening round saw them lose to Doon on a scoreline of 1-15 to 1-08 in Cappamore three weeks ago. Since then the lads have been working hard on the training ground and have welcomed back some key players from injury. In the second round played on Sunday July 20th, the lads defeated Ballybricken who were relegated from Intermediate status last season. At half time Kilteely Dromkeen trailed 2-03 to 0-07 but they put in an excellent second half display to win 1-14 to 3-06 in the end. Next up is Fedamore with the fixture likely to take place on Friday August 8th. The last group gama will see them play Ahane on the weekend of Friday the 15th August. The top 4 teams will qualify for east semi finals in early September. Junior FootballThe footballers kick off their championship campaign on Sunday August 3rd with a home game against Pallasgreen at 7.30pm. Murroe Boher, Ahane, and South Liberties make up a tough East Junior A football group. The three latter teams all come from senior hurling clubs with their first team in football playing at Junior A level. James O'Donovan of Oola has recently come on board as football coach and the lads will be hoping to start the championship with a win on Sunday evening in Kilteely. Intercounty Best of luck to Paudie Ahern (seniors) and Darragh Carroll (minors) who are both involved with Limerick Hurling panels in Croke Park over the next two weekends.
