Best of Luck Best of luck to Sean O'Dea who starts for the Limerick senior footballers on Saturday evening in the Gaelic Grounds against Tipperary in the first round of the Munster Senior Football Championship. Sean will be wearing number 4 playing at corner back. Its a fantastic achievement by Sean to make the team in his first year at senior intercounty level. He becomes the first Kilteely Dromkeen player to start a senior intercounty championship game for Limerick in hurling or football. Its just rewards for the huge effort and commitment he has put into GAA since he started and everyone involved with the club wishes Sean the very best of luck on Saturday evening. Junior HurlingThe hurlers played Monaleen in the intermediate all county league last Saturday evening in Kilteely. The lads lost out narrowly on a scoreline of 2-10 to 2-09. Overall they have equipped themselves will at this grade winning two of the four league games. On Tuesday night they defeated Newport in a challenge game on a scoreline of 4-10 to 1-13. Training continues Sunday morning at 8am in Kilteely. All roads lead to Thurles after training as Limerick face Tipperary in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship first round.
