Club Night Out
The club held a successful night out last Saturday January 4th in Aherns bar Kilteely. Nickie Quaid was our special guest and he presented medals to our Junior Hurling and Junior Football panels who won east Junior A titles this season. Nickie briefly addressed all in attendance to encourage everyone to keep up the good work going forward and the rewards will come. The club would like to thank Nickie for his time and wish him, Effin, and Limerick the very best of luck for 2014. Damien O'Dwyer was honored on the night for his 12 years of service to the club. Damien is stepping down from the role of club chairman and we would like to wish him well for the future and thank him for his work over the past years.
Players Meeting
A players meeting was held in Cill Bhride last Saturday January 4th and was well attended. On the night it was confirmed that Eamon O'Neill will continue in the role of hurling manager with Adrian O'Brien on board as trainer and Mike O'Loughlin and Donie Ryan operating as selectors. John English will be involved in the football coaching with the management team to be appointed.
EGM
An EGM has been called by the club for Wednesday January 15th in Cill Bhride at 8pm to sanction the appointment of Eamon O'Dea as club secretary and Liam O'Dea as club chairman. All club committee members are asked to attend.
Club Lotto
Monday 6th January, numbers drawn: 5 15 18 26, no winner. Lucky Dips: Larry creamer , Mai O'Keefe, Paddy Burk, Bernadette Greene. Sellers Prize: Larry Creamer. Next weeks draw is worth €2300 with the draw taking place in Hanlys Bar, Kilteely.  |
