Senior Club AGM
Kilteely Dromkeen GAA club will be holding the annual AGM on this Friday December 6. We encourage all players, members, management teams, and club committee members to attend as we review 2013, appoint club officers, and plan for 2014. The AGM begins at 8pm sharp in Cill Bhrìde. All are welcome.
Juvenile Club AGM
The juvenile club AGM was held last Sunday in Cill Bhrìde and we had a good turnout with a mix of parents, coaches, and club members in attendance. Juvenile club secretary Noel O'Dea provided a detailed report for a successful 2013 season while club chairman Pat Ryan reflected on the great effort put in by all both on and off the field. All agreed the most important outcome from the 2013 season was the increased participation of young players in Gaelic Games in the parish. The highlights of the season included hosting the Feile Na nGael competition as part of Feile Lumnì 2013 and competing in seven county finals picked up four county titles.
All of the existing club officers remain in place for the 2014 season; Chairman - Pat Ryan, Assistant Chairman - Tommy O'Dea, Secretary - Noel O'Dea, Assistant Secretary - Paddy Walsh, Treasurer - John O'Dea, Child Welfare Officers - Breda O'Grady and Caroline McCarthy, PRO - Denis Ahern, School Liaison Officers: Caroline McCarthy, John O'Dea. Committee: Mark Murphy, Anthony McCarthy, Eibhear O'Dea.
Thanks to all who attended on the night and we look forward to working together over the coming weeks and months to as we look to make further progress in 2014.
East GAA Convention
East Limerick GAA held their annual convention last Saturday evening in Cill Bhrìde and they enjoyed a large turnout. The club would like to thank all who helped host the evening providing our guests with a warm reception and some refreshments. We would also like to congratulate the East Board on a successful convention and wish them every success for the season ahead.
Medal Presentation
The juvenile club will make medal presentations to players on Sunday December 15. The adult club will make medal presentations to players for the 2013 season on Saturday January 4. Further details of time and location will be provided in the coming weeks.  |
