JUNIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Kilteely Dromkeen were to meet Ahane in the first round of the East Junior A Football Championship last Friday evening. However, no referee had been put in place to take the game. Both teams were togged and on the pitch carrying out their warm up before being advised that a game would not take place. This was very disappointing for the players, management, and supporters who had turned up for the match. The lads must now turn their attention to this Friday night where they will face Pallasgreen in Pallas with a 7pm throw in.
JUNIOR HURLING CHALLENGE
The hurlers travelled to Feenagh Kilmeedy last Sunday morning for a challenge game. This was a worthwhile exercise for all involved as every player saw plenty of game time. The club would like to thank Feenagh Kilmeedy for hosting the fixture and providing a referee. We would also like to commend Feenagh Kilmeedy on the quality of the playing facilities as the pitch was in excellent condition.

Best of luck to Paudie Ahern and the Limerick Senior Hurling team on Sunday against Clare in the All Ireland semi-final. Best of luck also to the Limerick minor hurlers who play Galway on Sunday.
