CLUB GROUNDS UPGRADE WORK
Kilteely Dromkeen GAA club would like to thank all the volunteers who helped out over the past number of weeks in preparing our grounds to host the Fčile competition. Rarely has the field and surrounding area being in such immaculate condition and its down to the hard work of many people who have generously offered their spare time towards the project. New ball stop nets are now in place behind each goals, new field fencing has been installed, a new boundary wall is in place, new footpaths for supporters have been poured, and all of the goals and dressing rooms have received a new coat of paint. Well done to all involved.
SYMPATHY
Kilteely Dromkeen GAA club extend our deepest sympathy to the family and relatives of Mary Jo Bolger who passed away last Sunday evening. Mary Jo gave fantastic commitment and service to the club down through the years and will be sorely missed by all in the parish of Kilteely Dromkeen. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
FČILE NA NGAEL 2013
Fčile na nGael begins next weekend Friday July 5 in the club and throughout the county of Limerick. Kilteely Dromkeen are hosting Letterkenny Gaels for the weekend. We play against Letterkenny Gaels on Friday July 5 at 3pm in Kilteely. After the game, the panel will be heading to the Gaelic Grounds where they will join in on the Fčile parade to O'Connell Street. On Saturday July 6, we will travel to Claaughan GAA grounds on Childers Road, Limerick to play against Oran of Roscommon at 11am and Claughan at 1pm. It promises to be a great weekend for our players who have been working hard over the past number of months in the build up to the competition. The players will be presented with their Fčile gear in advance of the competition and we hope to have great support at all the games to cheer the players on.
FIRST GOAL SCORER COMPETITION
The club are running a running a first goal scorer competition for the Munster Final. Tickets cost €2 each and the winners prize is €300. Each ticket contains a time of the game in minutes and seconds. If the first goal of the game is scored on the time displayed in your ticket, you will be the winner. All of the club players and members will be selling tickets in the coming weeks. The funding will be going towards hosting the Fčile competition and project work planned in the club for the coming months. Please support  |
