CLUB GROUNDS UPGRADE WORK
The club would like to thank all the lads who helped out last Saturday as we commenced work to upgrade the club facilities. The first phase of the works involves laying a concrete walkway around the field, installing new fencing around the playing area, installing new boundary fencing, upgrading the car park and driveway surface, replacing the nets behind each goals and painting the dressing rooms. We have put in place a 6 week programme to achieve all works and will continue on Saturday morning from 9.30am. Everyone is welcome to help out, many hands make light work! If you cant be there to help out, why not help fund the works by playing the club lotto weekly.

U-16 HURLING
The U-16 hurlers has a good win last Monday night over South Liberties in Caherelly, the final score was 2-07 to 0-06. Next up for them is Kilpeacon in Crecora at 7pm on Monday May 6.

U-15 HURLING
The U-15 hurlers received a walkover from Glenroe last Wednesday evening. They now play Tournafulla this Wednesday May 1 in Tournafulla at 6.45pm.

U-12 HURLING
The U-12 hurlers lost out to a strong Hospital Herbertstown team last Thursday evening in Hospital. The lads play Ahane next on Thursday May 9 at 6.45pm in Ahane.

U-10 HURLING BLITZ
U10 hurling hurlers played a blitz on Friday evening in Kilteely against Emly and Hospital Herbertstown. All the players got lots of game time and enjoyed the occasion. Thanks to all the parents and coaches who helped out on the night. CHILD PROTECTION COURSE
Well done to all who attended the Child Protection Course on Monday April 22. We would like to thanks Ger Downes and Gerry McNamara for providing the course and our own child welfare officer Breda O’Grady for arranging the course.

INTERCOUNTY
Hard luck to Sean O’Dea who was playing for the Limerick Minor Footballers last Sunday against Clare in the Munster Championship. Limerick lost the game on a score line of 1-12 to 0-09. Well done to Paudie Ahern who played centre forward with Limerick senior hurlers last Saturday against Wexford in Doon. Limerick won the game by 7 points.

Minor Hurling Tuesday April 30 against Pallasgreen in Pallas at 7pm.
U-15 Hurling Wednesday May 1 against Tournafulla away at 6.45pm.
U-8 Hurling Blitz on Friday evening May 3 in Kilteely.
The junior hurlers will play their first league game this weekend v Fedamore with fixture details TBC.
