Junior Hurling Championship
Kilteely Dromkeen 0-13 Doon 0-10. Our hurlers played Doon in Ahane on a wet bank holiday Monday. This was the second group game for the lads having defeated Ahane in the opening round.

Kilteely started the game well and scored the opening point through Francie Stokes and added two more from Darren Murphy and Paudie Ahern. Doon then replied with two points of their own as they settled into the game. The first half was point for point throughout, Padraic Keogh got an excellent point midway through which was added to by David Murphy. Doon stayed in touch with points of their own and could have had a goal but for some excellent defending by Kieran Murphy, James Dalaigh, and Sean O’Dea at the back. Barry O’Donnell was also very solid in goals. Paudie Ahern and Davy O'Neill added some good points and Kilteely led at the break 0-7 to 0-5.

Our lads started the second half strongly and raced into a 5 point led with scores from David Murphy, Paudie Ahern, and Darren Murphy. Our Backs continued to play well and keep Doon at bay. Padraic Keogh and Francie stokes added further points and Kilteely led by 12 pts to 7 with 10 minutes to play. Doon finished the game strongly out scoring Kilteely 3pts to 1 but the result was never in doubt and the lads held on for their second victory in this years east championship.

U14 Hurling
Kilteely Dromkeen 3.1 Blackrock 4.3. Minus several players and with only a bare team,we made the trip to Kilfinane to take on Blackrock on a very wet evening. Against the stiff breeze we were doing well with Rian O'Dea,Shane O'Grady and Fionn Muphy defending well and Conor Egan making his debut in goal keeping all at bay. Jamie McCarthy with a point gave us the lead but the pressure soon told and blackrock led at the break 3.1 to 0.1. Our boys upped the pressure in the second half and goals from Declan Kenny and Brian O'Grady gave us great hope.Blackrock got a goal of their own but the excellent Brian O'Grady pulled another back but our lads, try as they might, could not close the gap. Team:C.Egan,D Gleeson, R O'Dea,S O'Grady,F Murphy,E O'Regan,j McCarthy,S O'Dea,B O'Grady, A Lineham,D Kenny.

U12 Football
Kilteely Dromkeen 12.4 Bruff B 2.2. Our footballers continued to improve and had a big win over a young Bruff side with Brian O'Grady,Shane Dwane,Conor Egan and Jack Franklin to the fore.

U12 Hurling
Kilteely Dromkeen 2.2 Mungret B 2.4. Our lads made the trip to Mungret and were extremely unlucky to be narrowly beaten. Best for us were Josh Sheehan,John Egan,Brian O'Grady and Edward English.
