4. Mary Costello, Main St. Busy weekend ahead on the hurling field as both our Seniors and Junior Bs are out in action.
First up our Junior Bs travel to Puckane to play Kildangan in the North league. Already with two wins from two a victory here for the Bs would guarantee a semi final for the team. The match starts at 7pm Saturday.
Our Seniors are in action Sunday in the second round of the County Championship when we take on Kilruane. After a hard fought draw against Drom in the first round this is another vital match and a win would leave us in a very strong position to qualify for the knock out stages. The game starts at 6pm in Nenagh and we really hope to see a huge Borris crowd to support on the lads. Next weeks draw takes place in Coffeys Bar and the jackpot is worth €7,000
