4. Michael Kinane, Curraghgloss Commiserations goes out to our Minor team who were beaten by a very strong Newport gaels team yesterday evening. The final score was 1-20 to 1-13. The final score didn't reflect how close of a game this was and its great to know that the future of Borris hurling is in very safe hands. This weekend sees the renewal of the greatest rivalry in hurling at the minute as Tipp and Kilkenny go to battle this Sunday in the All Ireland final and our best wishes go to Brendan, Paddy, Conor and the whole Tipp team, Management and backroom team as they finalise their preparations for the big day. Next weeks draw takes place in Finns(Joe Loughnanes) and the jackpot is worth €6,000
