4. Sheila Carcary, Borrisokane Tonight we were delighted to present Marion Kennedy with her winnings from her recent success in the Borris lotto, Marion was away on holidays so we only now got the chance to make the presentation.
We wish Marion and her family all the best with their success. Our Minors had a disappointing loss tonight in their second match of the North Championship, having trailed by just a point at half time things just didn't go our way in the second half and we lost out on a score line on 1-08 to 20points. This weekend sees both our Junior teams out in action, firstly our Junior Bs are out Saturday evening when we travel to Cloughjordan to play Lorrha and that match starts at 7pm.
Then on Sunday our Junior As are out against Moneygall and that match takes place in Toomevara and throw in time is 12noon.
We hope to see a big turn out for both them matches. Next weeks draw takes place in Stapletons Bar, Main St. and the jackpot is worth €4,600
