Congratulations goes out to Mary Ryan, Glenkeen, who tonight was the lucky winner of our jackpot worth €6,000. The draw took place in Finns Bar(Joe Loughnanes) and we look forward to presenting Mary with her cheque next Thursday night. Last weekend our Junior As played their second North League match. We travelled to play Kildangan last Saturday and after a hard fought match and a terrific come back from our lads we shared the spoils on a score line of 3-15 to 4-12.
That leaves us with a win and a draw from our first two matches and leaves our qualification for the knock out stages very much in our own hands as we look forward to our final two group matches. This weekend see's our Seniors return to action in the County Championship. We play Burgess in Nenagh Sunday at 3.30pm knowing that a victory is a must if we are to qualify for the knock out stages.
We hope to see a big Borris crowd on the day to support on the lads. Next weeks draw takes place in Stapletons Bar, Pallas Cross and the jackpot is worth €4,000
