I'm glad to report this week that last weekend our Junior Cs completed their league campaign by claiming the North League title. We played Portroe in Borris last Friday night in the final and after a thrilling game played under lights in front of a great home crowd we came out on top on a score line of 3-09 to 2-09.
Our Cs have one more match to play this year and that's the North Championship final where we will meet Silvermines. A date has yet to be fixed but we will let everyone know when its announced.
Our under 21s are out in action this weekend when we play Kiruane in a North quarter final. That game is fixed for this Saturday with a 3pm throw in and the game takes place in Nenagh. We hope to see a big crowd turn out to support the lads.
This weekend also sees our latest fundraiser "Strictly Come Dancing" take place. Doors open in The Ragg at 7pm this Sunday for an event that's not to be missed. After 2 gruelling months of training all our local dancers are ready to show the world all their latest moves and it promises to be a night not to be missed. Next weeks draw takes place in Finns(Joe Loughnanes) and the jackpot is worth €6,400
