Our Senior hurlers are out this weekend in a County quarter final. We play Eire Og Anacarthy in the Ragg this coming Sunday with a 3.30pm throw in.
Last weekend we booked our spot in this quarter final when we overcame a spirited performance by Carrick Swans in Holycross when we defeated them on a score line of 1-17 to 2-08. A full match report is available on www.borris-ileighgaa.com
We had a great turn out last weekend to support our lads and we hope everyone will travel this Sunday again to lend their vocal support.
Our Junior As had a disappointing finish to their year when we came unstuck to Toomevara in a North Semi Final last Sunday. After a terrific year that promised so much luck let us down on a perfect evening in Dolla for hurling.
But plenty of positives to be taken from this year was the major contributions of all our younger hurlers who have proven to us all year that the future of Borris hurling is in very safe hands.
Next weeks draw takes place in The Clodagh Bar, and the jackpot is worth €5,200  |
