This weekend sees a very busy few days for the club. This coming Saturday our Seniors play Carrick Swans in the 4th round of the County Qualifiers in Holycross at 2.30pm where the winners progress into a County Quarter Final the following week.
Our Junior As are also in action this weekend in a North Semi Final. We play Toomevara at 6pm in Dolla Sunday evening with a place in a North Final at stake. We already accounted for Toome in the League semi so we are hoping to repeat that feat again to advance to our second Junior A final.
We hope as many Borris people will be there to support both teams over the weekend in what will be two tough matches.
Our Minors were the only team in action during the week where a terrific season was ended in a North Semi to Nenagh played last Monday evening. The lads had a terrific year with such honesty and hunger shown but lady luck was not on our side as a strong Nenagh team prevailed.
Next weeks draw takes place in Stapletons Bar, Main St. and the jackpot is worth €5,000
