Tonight we were delighted to present Peggy Treacy, last weeks lotto winner, with her cheque of €12,400. Peggy brought her friends and family along to celebrate and a great night was had by all.
Our Junior As had a great win last Friday evening when we overcame Burgess in a hard fought encounter in our third championship match. We ended up winning on by 8points in the end to leave us in a great position to qualify for the knockout stages.
Our seniors are back out in action this weekend in Round 3 of the County qualifiers. We play Burgess in Nenagh with a 7pm throw in. We hope to see a big Borris crowd to support the lads.
Next weeks draw takes place in The Clodagh Bar and the jackpot is worth €4,200
