Our Seniors had a heart breaking defeat in our North Semi final last Sunday afternoon. We played Silvermines in that match and missed out on a place in the North Final by the narrowest of margins, The score finished 0-15 to 0-16 in favour of the opposition.
But we don't have much time to lick our wounds as we are out tomorrow evening, the 21st, in the second round of the county qualifiers when we play JK Brackens in the Ragg with a 7.30pm throw in. All support for the lads would be greatly appreciated.
Our Junior As are also in action this weekend when we play Nenagh in the North league final. That match is in Dolla this coming Sunday with a 7pm throw in where we are expecting a huge turn out to see our lads attempt to bring back our first bit of silverware of the year.
Next weeks draw takes place in Coffeys Bar and the jackpot is worth €11.400.
