Last weekend our Senior hurlers extended their undefeated streak in North Championship hurling when we overcame Roscrea in a North Quarter Final on a lovely afternoon in Nenagh. We ran out comfortable winners on a score line of 1-21 to 1-10.
We now play Silvermines in a North Semi Final and that game is expected to be played the week ending 16th June.
Our Junior Cs also had a successful week, we overcame Silvermines in our third league match tonight in great conditions when we overcame them by four points.
Our Junior As hope to continue on a great week so far when they play Burgess this coming Saturday, the 1st June, in Borris in their third league match, where a win would guarantee us qualification straight into a North Semi Final. That match starts at 7.30pm and it would be great to see a big turnout to support the lads.
This weekend also sees our Golf Classic take place in Thurles Golf Club, we have reached almost 100 teams and if the weather that's predicted for the weekend holds up we will be in for two great days of golf.
Next weeks draw takes place in The Clodagh Bar and the jackpot is worth €10,800.
