Our Seniors had another great outing in the north Championship last weekend. We played Lorrha over in Cloughjordan last Saturday and we ran out winners on a scoreline of 1-19 to 1-06.
This victory guaranteed us qualification into a North Quarter Final. But we must play Templederry first to see who goes through as Group winners and that game takes place Sunday week in Nenagh with a 5pm throw in.
Our Junior Cs also had a taste of victory last weekend, we recorded a 2-09 to 0-08 win over Burgess in our first North League match of the year.
Our Junior A's hope to continue on the good form this weekend when they play Kilruane at home this Saturday in their second league match, after recorded a victory over Lorrha in their first match they hope to make it two from two when they play at home at 6.30pm.
Also our Camogie club are holding their Fashion Show this Friday, the 19th, in the Templemore Arms. A great event that will raise great funds for the future progressive of the club. Tickets are still available at only €10 for the night.
Next weeks draw takes place in Stapletons Bar, Main St. and the jackpot is worth €9,600.
