Our Seniors had a hard fought victory over Moneygall last night in the second round of the Senior Challenge Cup. Played under lights in Borris with an injury hit team we finished level at the end of 60 minutes, but in extra time the boys showed great desire and commitment and won on a scoreline of 1-21 to 2-12.
We now play away to Moycarkey Borris this coming Sunday, 24th March, at 4pm in the quarter final of the Sweeper Ryan Cup.
Our first North Championship match in just around the corner as well, we play Borrisokane in the first round Saturday fortnight, the 6th April, in Cloughjordan.
Our Junior As start their league campaign very soon also, we play away to Lorrha in our first match Sunday week, the 31st March.
Commiserations go out to all our competitors who took part in the Senior Scór County Final last weekend, we were well represented on the night but were very unlucky not to advance to a Munster Semi in any catogery.
Next weeks draw takes place in the Clodagh Bar and the jackpot is worth €8,800.
