4. Peter Corcoran, c/o Gleesons Our Seniors had a great victory last weekend over Toomevara in the quarter final of the Hogan Cup. Played in Borris under lights last Friday we won 1-22 to 1-13 in what was a terrific performance and a great platform to start the year.
We have been drawn away to Kilruane in the semi final with a date yet to be confirmed. Our Seniors are out next Wednesday night at home to Moneygall under lights at 8pm in round 2A of the Senior Challenge Cup and all support would be greatly welcome for the team. This Friday, the 15th, in the Clodagh Bar we hold our local heat of the All County Table Quiz in association with The Tipp County Board with all funds going to supporting the preperation of all Tipp county teams. The quiz is being broadcast live on Tipp Fm and starts at 9pm sharp and if you're free please call down for what will be a great night. Next weeks draw takes place in Stapletons Bar, Main St and the jackpot is worth €8,600
