Where to begin after a weekend like we have had in Borrisoleigh. Firstly a huge congratulations to all our players, management and backroom team on their incredible and well deserved victory in this years senior county final. The team had been building all year and it came to fruition in Thurles last Sunday with a phenomenal win over Kiladangan on a score line of 1-15 to 1-12. Each man in maroon gave it everything to get over the line and when the final whistle sounded the sheer joy and emotion was palpable. Secondly we would like to thank all our supporters at home and abroad for making this victory all that bit sweeter. The support the club and players have received over the last while has been more important than anyone could imagine and to see the crowd in both semple stadium and in the community centre when the team arrived back was just incredible and it made it one of the greatest days in the clubs history that the whole parish joined in in the celebrations.

 

Next weeks draw takes place in The Clodagh Bar and the jackpot is worth €12,400
