4. John Shortt, Upperchurch Last weekend our seniors secured their place in this years North Final with a hard fought win over Neighbours Templederry. The game took place in Nenagh last Sunday and we won by two points on a score line of 2-16 to 20points.
The North Final is fixed for Saturday, the 2nd of September at 6pm in Nenagh against Nenagh and we hope to see a huge Borris crowd supporting the lads.
This weekend see's another busy weekend on the hurling field, tomorrow(Friday) evening our Juniors are away to Burgess in the North Championship. The match throws in at 7pm in Kilcolman.
Also this weekend our under 12s are out in the replay of their County Semi Final. After an awe inspiring performance in the drawn match both teams must do it again this Sunday at 2pm in Dundrum and we really hope to see a massive Borris crowd there to cheer on these heroic Borris men. Next weeks draw takes place in The Clodagh Bar and the jackpot is worth €18,400
