No Jackpot winner to celebrate this week so lets hope our Senior hurlers give us something to celebrate later today in Aughrim at 1.30 pm.
Congratulations to Ann Marie Woodcock who wins €25 in the Lucky Dip.
Thanks to all who attended Bray Emmets AGM last night in the Clubhouse. It was a business-like meeting with all the Agenda items covered without controversy.
There was little change with the Executive Committee, Paul Cunningham continues as Chairman for another year as is the case with Runai, Cisteoir, Registrar, Adult games. The chairman stated that new members must come forward as so many of the Executive are in position for periods that exceed that recommended and he also gave notice that he will stand down next year.
The match referred to above is the Leinster Intermediate hurling Club Semi-Final which is being played at 1.30 today against Naomh Barrog from Dublin. This is a really big game for the club as the prize is a place in the Leinster Final. The club has never reached this Semi-final stage before so our hurlers are again creating history.
We must have good support at the game so do make the effort to lend your voice to cheering on our heroes.
