I would love to bring good news about the Jackpot however you must wait at least another week as no Jackpot winner. Congratulations to Michael Duffy, a long time supporter who wins €25 in the Lucky Dip. What a week its been. Our minors put on a great show in the hurling County Final, our Junior Hurlers marched on to the County Final, our Mothers and Others played their first challenge match against Roundwood and in the main event our Senior hurlers put on a majestic performance, particularly in the second half to win the County Final comprehensively against Carnew. The hurling by Bray was majestic with Christy/Jackie Moorhouse the assassin in chief again winning the Man of the Match for the 4th County Final. This surely is a record. But Christy was not alone. Right through the panel they were all heroes. What a pity there is no Leinster Championship this year. It would be a delight to see this team against the best in Leinster. Congratulations to Paul Carley and all his management team for all the great work in honing this team into such a strong and disciplined outfit
