How can I break the news? No Jackpot winner tonight again. The only way is to increase the number of players, so I would appeal to all to get more in and then the winners will flow. We have about 900 members but a mere 144 tickets sold tonight. Surely we can do better. Our Junior Hurlers went to play the League final last week in Arklow and lo and behold the opposition never turned up! It just shows the difficulty of developing the game in Wicklow. Why can these issues not be sorted before the game and at least avoid travel to no avail. At least I got the location and time right last week but to no avail. Our Senior hurlers are looking forward to the County Semi-final on Sunday 7th October in Aughrim against Carnew. Do come and support this great team.
