Great start to AFL2 for the McMeels Pharmacy sponsored Senior footballers with a comprehensive win over St. Peregrines on Sunday morning. Hard luck to the AFL6 team who lost to Castleknock, while the AFL11N game was called off. Well done to the U14 footballers who beat Castleknock in Div1 and the Div7 team who defeated St. Monicas. Minor Camogie had good start to league season with victory over St. Olafs.
Congratulations to Jack Smith who helped DCU win the Sigerson Cup on Saturday, and emulates his father’s Peter win in the same competition in 1985, to Orlaith Durkan who was on the Dublin Senior Camogie team who beat Derry, and to Aisling Spillane who played with the Camogie Juniors. Congratulations also to Ross McGarry and Ian Furlong who played with Fingal Hurlers in the NHL.

Juvenile Academy returns Saturday Morning between 10am and 11.30am (weather permitting). Club Shop open from 10am. Well done to all involved in another successful Gormanston Indoor Hurling tournament.
New Clubhouse Bar Opening Times Thurs and Friday from 7pm, Saturday and Sunday from 2pm. All welcome to come down and have a drink in the new facilities. Tonight (Friday the 27th Feb @ 9pm) we welcome back Niall Matthews and his fabulous musicians to our club. Having performed to a packed house in one of our last gigs in our old home we are certainly looking forward to another great night of Traditional Irish Music and Ballads for you all to enjoy.
