Under 8 Blitz day our group was hosted by St Sylvesters at Malahide Castle and also included Naomh Mearnóg. 29 of our 31 strong squad turned out. A great testament to the commitment of the kids and parents alike. (We even know of a certain mentor and player who cut short their mid-term holiday to ensure they could attend!). On Sunday 7th Harps under 11 Camogie played Castleknock on Townparks in Skerries. This was the first league game of the year and being under 11 it was the first full game of their lives.

Pitches were set up side by side running to three quarters of main pitch, .It was 25 min per half the longest the girls had played without a break prompting some to ask at half time if it was over, In all 17 girls turned out leaving it 9v9 and 8v8 with no subs a fact that came against Skerries red as two girls were side-lined at the same time. The 4th year of the  Easter schools hurling & camogie tournament, sponsored by Jane Reilly's 'Sports & Photo shop" & Gerard Boylan's "Skerries frameworks" took place over the 2nd week of the schools Easter holiday period. Scheduled every year for the 1st week of the school break, but because of inclement weather, it took place in glorious sunshine over the 2nd week.
