Harps u12 Hurlers braved the cold to win in Clontarf last weekend!! Harps u12 hurlers, sponsored by Luke Moriarty's (2013 Kerry-man of the Year) SuperValu, travelled to Clontarf who somehow managed to have their pitch match-fit whilst the Harps men left Skerries with the ducks taking up residence on our home pitches. This 11 a side game was played in cold, windy, wet conditions but the lads served up a cracker - just reward for the many Skerries parents who thankfully travelled to support the lads. Unlucky Boys u13 (A) were beaten 2-6 to 6-8 by Cuala last weekend. Skerries conceded home advantage to Cuala for this promotion tie, played on the all-weather in Dun Laoighre college. Next weekend our under age teams will participate in the Skerries St. Patrick's Day on Sunday. Join us afterwards in the clubhouse for Ceol agus Craic. Open from 3pm.
Membership and Player Injury fund fees are now well overdue and may be paid online or to club registrar John Halpin. Fees are unchanged from 2012 and must be paid before games resume, details on club website skerriesharps.ie. Players not paid up cannot play!
