The Juniors lost to St.Sylvesters in their opening game of the season, most other games were postponed due to weather conditions.
Harps u12 footballers left the wetlands of Skerries and gave up home advantage to St Brigids in Blanchardstown. An 11-a-side match, this ensured a full match for all players and plenty of room to play open, quality football - both teams did not disappoint - this was a cracking match. The under 9 boys continued their fine run of performances today (Sunday 17th February) at the Gormanston indoor hurling tournament with two well deserved victories. Full report at

Fixtures:
Senior Football will play Round Towers Clondalkin in first league match in AFL2 on Sunday 24th Away 11am, while Juniors travel to play Castleknock in AFL6 at 11am. Minor Hurlers face Naomh Barrog also Away Time TBC. All support for these games very welcome.

Membership and Player Injury fund fees are now well overdue and may be paid online or to club registrar John Halpin. Fees are unchanged from 2012 and must be paid before games resume, details on club website skerriesharps.ie. Players not paid up cannot play!

Mouthguards are available locally in Supervalu and Fitted Gumshields are available from Diarmuid McHugh at a cost of €45pp (must be in groups of 5).
