Our Cheltenham Tipster 2012 fundraiser was a great success. Congratulations to the winners, 1) Mark Conroy (45 pts) €1,000 2) Donnacha Reilly (41 pts) €300 3) Marcas Mac Seion (40 pts) €200 The club would like to thank Fergus Lynch and Andy Geraghty for organising a great event. We are already planning our next events. Skerries Harps Amateur Golf Society outings for 2012 are now confirmed. Friday June 8th BALBRIGGAN GC 12pm to 2pm Friday Aug 24th SWORDS OPEN GC 12pm to 2pm Friday Sept 28th SKERRIES GC 10am to 12:30pm (CAPTAINS DAY) More news will follow closer to the date. Also in the planning for May is a great night out of boxing where Skerries Harps Gladiators will compete against Skerries Rugby Club, 15 fights in all. Training for all boxers starts soon Watch this space for more news……… We are now well into March and some membership fees are still outstanding. It’s very important that all players have paid in full now that the season has started. If membership is not paid by the 31st of March you will not be entitled to request Dublin All Ireland tickets. Payment is simple and convenient, go to www.skerriesharps.ie and click on the registration button at the bottom of the page. Also, the numbers for last night’s Zingo were 4-1-7-6-3-2-5. There was one winner of the Jackpot. Congratulations to John Gordon who won €1,100. Next week’s jackpot will be €1,000.
