Well done to the simply amazing Lyndsey Davey on winning her 5th All-Star award on Saturday night! It was great to see so many members down to celebrate with Lyndsey yesterday evening, especially our younger members to whom Lyndsey gives so much of her time and experience! A fantastic ambassador for club and county, all at Skerries Harps are very proud of our club hero!
Congratulations to our U13 Camogie team on their Shield win over St Maurs yesterday, in a tough game that went to extra time - great performances from both teams.
Hard luck to the U16A Boys Footballers on their A Championship semi-final defeat to Kilmacud Crokes on Sat & to the U16 Girls footballers on their Shield final defeat to Round Towers Clondalkin on Sunday.
ZINGO RESULT Sun 17th Nov. Zingo result: 2-6-3-1-5-7-4. We had No winners of Jackpot. The Dividend of €300 was shared by 2 winners, Congrats to Joe Williams and the Kenny siblings! Academy continues this Saturday the 23rd of Nov between 10-11.30am. Saturday the 30th is our last Academy for 2019, and a very special visitor will be coming to see all the boys and girls.
Club shop open during academy for Christmas orders. Shop is also open this Wed 20 Nov: 7.30-8.30pm for Christmas orders. Cut-off date for Christmas orders Sat 23 Nov
Upcoming Diary Dates:-
• Thursday the 28th of Nov - Club AGM takes place 8.30pm sharp at the Clubhouse. All members encouraged to attend. Nominations for club positions welcomed - as per official notification issued, nomination forms to be returned to the club secretary via email (secretary.skerriesharps.dublin@gaa.ie) or by post to the Clubhouse.
• Saturday the 30th of Nov - Juvenile Presentation evening held at the Community Centre , followed by Members appreciation night from 8.30pm in the Clubhouse.
• Sunday the 22nd of Dec - Christmas Draw 9pm in the Clubhouse.
As the season comes to a close for many teams and the weather continues to be unpredictable a reminder to all to monitor updates to training slots and pitch availability throughout the day. Teams with remaining "competitive" fixtures only are to continue training as per slots allocated on the main pitch.
All team mentors reminded to contact Pat, Ger or Joanne re booking the Clubhouse for end of season team events!!
