Congratulations to our McMeels sponsored Junior 2 Footballers on their win over Ballyboden St Endas on Sunday the 1st of October and on being crowned winners of AFL5, gaining promotion to AFL4 for next season. Following from their recent win in the B Championship this has been a fantastic season for this team - well done all! Our Senior ladies defeated Ballinteer St Johns on Sun 1st October, with our All Ireland winning Dublin Stars Sinead O'Mahony & Lyndsey Davey in action for the club. A win in their next league match on Wed 4th would see the Senior Ladies gain promotion to Division 2. Well done to the Moriarty Supervalu Sponsored U16 Div 1 Footballers on their win over Kilmacud Crokes & the U14 Div 1 and 7 Footballers on their wins over St Judes & Croi Ro Naofa on Sat 30 Sept. The U12 Girls defeated St Judes on Sat 30th in Div 3 League. Congrats to the U16 Camogie team on their win against St Maurs in the Camogie Championship on Sat 30th. Thanks to all who joined us for our homecoming celebration in honour of Lyndsey & Sinead and their fantastic win last week in the All Ireland Final. It was great to have the Brendan Martin Cup in the Clubhouse and for so many of our juvenile members to get the opportunity to see their heroes up close!
