We had a Good C'Ship win for the McMeel's Pharmacy sponsored Junior 2 team over Scoil Ui Chonaill last Sunday. Well Done to Fionnan O'Sullivan, Liam Woodcock and Sam Jones who played with the Dublin U16 footballers, and to Matthew Kelly, Adam Fearon and Finn Chatten who lined out with the Dublin U15's in an Inter County Blitz and won both games and to Paul Wilde who is also a member of the Development Squad. Hard Luck to Orlaith Durkan who lost out with the Dublin Senior Camogie team against Offaly in Leinster Semi.
Best of Luck to Ross, Jonathan and Iain with Fingal hurlers in Nicky Rackard Semi-Final V Armagh in Naomh Barrog's on Saturday at 3.30pm.
The Final of the Dublin Community Games Camogie was played in The Ballast Pit pitch in Skerries between Skerries and Lucan on Thursday evening. This was a very enjoyable game to watch and was played in the spirit of the Community Games with both sides giving of their all on the night and acquitting themselves well. Unfortunately on the night it wasn't to be for Skerries and Lucan won out deserved winners. Medals were presented to both teams by Maureen Quinlan who represented Dublin Community Games. Club open this Saturday, May 21st, with live coverage of the FA Cup Final from 5.30pm & the Leinster Hurling quarter final between Dublin & Wexford from 7.15pm. On Sunday live coverage of Derry v Tyrone in the Ulster Football quarter final at 2pm followed by Tipperary & Cork in the Munster Hurling quarter final at 4pm.
