There was a very good turnout for bingo this week. The two big jackpots of € 20,000 and € 5,900 are both still there for some lucky winner to take it away. Next weekend sees the annual vintage weekend. Saturday afternoon is the Philip Moran memorial tractor run.
Sunday is the great family day out, "The Streete Vintage Day"
This year has lots of the old reliable attractions returning but there are also a few new one coming this year too. It will be a great day of entertainment for all the family. Please do come down and have a great day out. Lisryan tidy village are still very busy cleaning up the village, there has been a huge amount of work done in the past few weeks. Well done to all involved. Please keep an eye on the local notes in the newspaper for information of upcoming events. Your support will be very welcome. Before I set off I would like to wish everyone from the area who are taking part in the Leinster Fleadh Cheoil the very best of luck. These takes place over in Moate Co Westmeath this weekend.
