Well there was a great number playing bingo tonight. It was a strange night as there was lots of double and triple checks throughout the night, but even with the extra cheques the jackpot still didn’t come close to going. So you will have to come back next week and try your luck and get your hands of the € 17,400 jackpot.
Streete Bowls Club
Bowls starts back from the Christmas break tomorrow night Tuesday. It is hoped that everyone will be back as the singles will be happening very soon and hopefully Streete Club will have a good showing at this event.
Streete Wildlife Club
The wildlife club is having an EGM this Thursday in the Crossroads Inn Lisryan at 9pm. It is a very important meeting and it is hoped that all members will attend. The Fox shoots have started last Sunday. There will also be a vermin count this Tuesday, if any members have vermin please do get it over to this count a numbers are down so far this season.
Well done to everyone who took part in the music in the church over the Christmas. It was wonderful to see so many Kids from the area playing music and singing. Hopefully this is the start of something new for 2013.
The walkway is still drawing lots of walkers on a daily basis. The is a super facility to have so in order to make sure we can look after it and keep both the Centre and the walkway open 365 days it is very important we get more people playing Streete Lotto on line for 2013, PLEASE DO PASS the word around to family and friends, especially the ones who are away and might want to keep up with the local gossip.
