There was a great crowd at Bingo this week, However even with 8 numbers to spare going into the Jackpot no one managed to call inside the 42 numbers. So Next Weeks Jackpot now stands at € 15,800 next week.
BOWLS
Streete Bowls club starts back tonight Tuesday 11th of September at 8pm. It is hoped that most members will attend tonight so that teams can be selected for the year ahead. This year Streete will be a force to recken with. Best of Luck to all concerned.
PRIDE OF PLACE
As you are all aware back at the start of Summer, Streete was judged in the Pride of Place competation, where we did not win we did hovever recieve over € 1000 in funding to put into the parish. In these hard times it is great to recieve any help at all, as Tesco's would say "every little helps".
Streete 5k Fun Run/ Walk
This will take place on Sunday 30th of September at 2pm sharp. Declan Carty said that people will be able to take part and still be back in time to watch the replay of the Galway / Kilkenny all Ireland Hurling Final. So dont be sitting at home that day waiting for the big match, get out and support this walk and feel good when you finally sit down to watch the be replay.

The finishing touches are being put into place for our new look web page. It should be up and running in the next two weeks. There will also be a photo gallery so you will be able to view great shots from different events. As you are all aware this is where you can sign up for this news letter and also sign up to our Lotto. PLEASE PLEASE spread the word around, lotto sales are very poor from the pubs now and we NEED YOUR HELP NOW to sign up here and get family and friends from around the world to do the same. YOUR COMPLEX NEEDS THIS MONEY IF WE ARE TO KEEP IT OPEN, it would be such a shame if this were to close and only open for special events, PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR AND YOUR KIDS COMPLEX.
