No Winner This Week. At Last Summer time has arrived and along with it so too has summer weather. (Hopefully not Summer just yet). Well the summer time markes the end of the bowls league.
Streete Club did themselves very proud. Streete C finished in third place in the county, and last Tuesday the club was the first club to field three teams and for all 3 teams to win at home.
Just for the people following the inhouse competation between the B's and the C's, well it went right down to the wire and in the end the C's won by half a point.
Well dont to all,
The Basil Sullivan Cup startes next Tuesday night and hopefully one streete team will make it through to the final and bring this new cup back to streete. Bingo
Even with the great weather there was a good number playing last night. It looked the jackpot was in trouble when it was said that there was 11 numbers to go after the two lines were called. However it held for another week. May I wish you all a very Happy Easter and hope you have a nice glass of Rioja with your lamb on Easter Sunday.
Please dont forget there there is a childrens music session in the parish park @ 3pm on Sunday 1st of April, all are welcome.
