Bingo
The Jackpot did not go last night, there was a great crowd playing,
great to see new faces playing.
Bowls
The Streete A's had a win over Streete C last week while the B's had a close match against Castlepollard, however Castlepollard proved to be the stronger team on the night.
Zumba classes started last Wednesday Night in the parish park, it was very well attended. Everyone really enjoyed it.
St Fintans Lismacaffrey.
Castlepollard Library ran a St Patricks Day Postcard competition. There were 590 entries from 10 different schools in Co Westmeath. St Fintans had three winners.
Cliodhna Tighe won in the JNR Class
Tara Fagan won in the Intermediate Class
Jamie Doyle won in the SNR. Class
Well done to all three, the standard was very high and the judges said that they found it near impossible to find the winners.
Ceoltas
There was an meeting held with the Westmeath Ceoltas, they are hoping to have a public meeting on Sunday 1st of April @ 5pm and from this meeting it will be decided if there is the opening for a Ceoltas Branch here in Streete.
There will be a "Young Trad Session" on in the meeting room at the parish park on Sunday 1st of April also. This will start at 3pm and finish at 5pm. These are run in cunjuction with Westmeath Rural Arts and always proves to be a great afternoon of entertainment.

Last week I had the pleasure to taste different vintages of the wonderful wine that is Riesling. However one of our newsletter readers pointed out that maybe I should not have the wine before I write up the letter as spelling sometimes went astray.
