Christmas Concert On Wednesday 28th of December we had a Christmas Variety Concert in the Parish Park. A most entertaining night was held, there were singers from Ferban in Offaly and even as far a field a Derry, There was also plenty of local talent on display which we know there is an abundance of throughout our parish. Very well done to all concerned. The word is that it was one of the best nights of music in the Parish Park. Help and Support It was great to see so many of our community home for Christmas including some who made a surprise visit to the delight of their families. We hope that everyone had a great visit and wish you all safe travelling to whatever pocket of the world you now treat as home. We hope that more and more will start using and supporting Streete Lotto and playing on line, you will also be updated not only with the numbers but also the local news by e mail. Please play on line and be in with a chance of a nice win fall in 2012. Streete Bowls Club Streete Bowls Club are hosts to the Westmeath Bowls Singles this Sunday 8th of January. The event is open to any Westmeath bowlers. The competition starts at 2pm and will run till apx 6pm. If you wish to come alone and watch this event at any stage of the day you are more than welcome. It makes great viewing and is FREE to anyone who would like to come along and watch.
