Other News: Boxing Update: Well we did RUMBLE!! A HUGE thanks to all the amazing boxers that put on a fantastic show of entertainment last night. The atmosphere in the place was electric. Great sportsmanship and mutual respect by both teams. The great training, preparation and mentoring by Fergal Fagan and Damien McKenna paid dividend as the boxers showed us how much they learned during their training weeks. Thanks to the O'Rag's for supplying the venue and all the supporters and sponsors that contributed so generously to both our clubs we appreciate it greatly. Boxers, ICE those aching bodies and know you all did the club and town proud. More action shots to follow soon.
Juvenile AGM Update: Due to a bereavement the Juvenile AGM will now take place on Mon. 25th Nov. @ 7.30pm in the clubhouse. All welcome.
The 2nd Monaghan Coaching Conference will take place on Saturday the 23rd of November 2013 9.15am-2.30pm in a joint venture with Patrician High School and Inver College Carrickmacross. This year the main target is club coaches ranging from u6′s to senior in both football and hurling. Cost is €10 per person and includes coaching templates. On a sad note.. The club would like to send our deepest sympathy to the Judge Family on the death of Mary Judge(nee) Crilly Mount St. Oliver. Funeral leaving her home at 10-30am on Thursday 21st Nov to St. Mary's Church for mass at 11am. R.I.P.
