Other News: All Ireland Junior Ladies Final 7th Oct. 2012 The club is running a bus to the Ladies All Ireland final in Croke Park on 7th October. Louth will face Antrim on the day & we are very proud of our 4 ladies on the panel Elaine Flood Vikki Mc Ginn Maura Lynch & Lisa Kelly. Ticket prices for the day are as follows- Adults 25 euro, Students 10 euro & children U16s 5 euro. The bus costs 5 euro each. The bus will be leaving the clubhouse at 10am on the morning of the game & will be back in Drogheda for 3.30pm at the latest. Tickets & bus seats can be ordered with Mags on 086-1691047. The deadline for ordering tickets is this Wed 19th September at 6pm. After this tickets will have to be purchased in Croke park on the day of the game.
12.5km Newtown Run on 15th Sept. a great success. Well done to all our runners & walkers that took part in the 12.5km Newtown Run 2012. You all made the day very special for the club. Thanks to all that assisted our runners along the way keeping them motivated and safe on the roads. It was a great day for the club and community. Thanks to all the buns, cakes & sandwich makers that provided a feast for the runners & helpers. A special mention must go to Johnny Doherty for all his hard work to produce a great event along with all the enthusiastic and dedicated committee members.
