The celebrations begin on Thursday 12th July 7pm. A special anniversary mass will be held in the marquee for our deceased members. Tea & coffee will be served afterwards. Our photo exhibition will be on display. GAA President Liam O' Neill will be our special guest on the night.
We encourage everyone to wear there Blues gear on the night as group photo will be taken! All welcome!
Tickets for the comedy on sale now- Friday 13th July we will be holding a comedy night in the marquee. Patrick Mc Donnell (Father Ted/ Naked Camera), John Colleary (Savage Eye) & Tommy Nicholson will be performing. The night will be MC'd by Ian Perth. There will be a DJ afterwards. Tickets cost €10 each. Please contact Brien 087-2100011 or Shane 087-6536999. Advance purchase is advised as their are a limited amount of tickets available. Full Bar available on the night. Strictly over 18s.
Sat. 14th July Get out your sequined dress, dust off your flared trousers & don that gold medallion again as the Blues hold a 70's night in the Marquee on the Saturday night of our anniversary weekend. There will be a Full Bar & BBQ available on the night. Strictly over 18's. Fancy Dress optional but there will be prizes for best dressed. Cost is €5.All welcome!
Sun. 15th July 2-5pm Our 125 year anniversary weekend will finish with our annual sportsday on Sunday. This will be a fun day for all the family in the field. There will be games, crazy golf, penalty shoot out, face painting, magicians, balloons, races & lots lots more. There will also be a kids disco in the Marquee from 4 to 5pm.
Our monster raffle will also be held this day! More details to follow.
